Trained in buildings, fluent in people

I’m Shivani Natu, an Architect and Designer who became a full-time illustrator. My education in architecture and design laid the foundation for this artistic journey; teaching myself to draw turned it into a profession.

I’m drawn to the charm of old vintage structures: architectural detail, vibrant colour, pattern, and the lively narratives of the people and life around them. To me, details are the very essence of storytelling.

Along the way I’ve shared this work globally, turning moments and memories into permanent artwork.
